Ricky Graham joins United
Ricky Graham has joined Dale Davidson as part of our management team to help guide the club up 1B.
The former Downshire YM, Drumaness Mills, Killyleagh YC and Lower Maze manager, who also assisted at Dromara Village, Dunmurry Rec and Annagh United, has vast experience in football in Northern Ireland and will be looking forward to this new challenge.
Ricky introduced himself to the squad and took training for the first time on Tuesday 24 September at Assumption Grammar School, laying out his intentions for the season ahead and beyond.
United finished 9th last year under Glynn Robinson and were hoping to build on that this time around but early setbacks, late goals and a series of undeserved score lines have hindered that.
However, with the appointment of Ricky, the club is confident of improving recent results and progressing up 1B, particularly after a string of battling performances including Ricky’s first game, away to Bangor Amateurs, on Saturday 28 September.
Everyone at Ballynahinch United would like to wish Ricky all the success during his time here, alongside Dale.

It is with great reluctance that Ballynahinch United have accepted the resignation of Manager Glynn Robinson from his position at The Millbridge.
Glynn, a former Ballynahinch United player, was appointed manager in June 2018. He took charge of 44 competitive games during his spell at the club and guided the club to a respectable 9th place finish last season, and overseen our 50th Anniversary celebrations.
Glynn has stepped down due to commitments outside of football. Everybody at Ballynahinch United would like to thank him for his dedication and effort and wish him the very best for the future.
The Club can confirm that Dale Davidson will remain at the Millbridge and will take charge of the first team on Saturday.
