Ballynahinch United hosted fellow strugglers Barn United in an important fixture to round up the league for 2024.
It was the home side who took the lead within half an hour when Ronnie Johnston bundled home from close range.
Barn were quick to reply with an equaliser moments later.
United regrouped at half-time and took the lead when Glenn Bennett powerfully headered home after excellent wing-play from Cameron McKissick.
An unfortunate own-goal by Chris Coleman levelled the scoreline once again.
The away side took the lead for the first time despite a strong performance throughout by Ballynahinch.
The Sky Blues were quick to reply, when Greg Hall scored from close-range following up Glenn’s effort after another well worked move on United’s right.
It was late in the day when Aaron Cheevers scored the winner to give Kyle’s men all three points in a tough game.
Two cautions in quick succession reduce the away side to ten-men but Ballynahinch remained disciplined to see out the game.

Albion 1 – 1 Cloughey II
Matthew Lindsay was able to line up with Matthew Hall from the first-team and Diarmuid Lavery, Ian and Graeme McMullan from the Swifts to face Cloughey II at Langley Road.
Even with the strengthened squad, The Albion struggled to find their scoring boots despite numerous chances.
It was Cloughey who took the lead after a long ball found it’s way through the back line.
United rallied back with Charlie Parkinson industrious in midfield but chances didn’t fall their way.
In the second half, Ballynahinch were dominant while Cloughey posed little threat.
Graeme McMullan had a chance to level the score from the spot after Ethan Perkins was fouled. But his penalty rebounded powerfully off the post.
It was Ethan who equalised with a good finish inside the box after Cloughey failed to clear their lines from a corner.
United threatened for the remained of the half but were unable to take the lead.
In the dying seconds, Matthew Hall’s header appeared to cross the goal line but the referee waved play on despite United’s pleas.
