Match report: Ballynahinch United 3 – 3 Saintfield United

Ballynahinch United faced local rivals Saintfield United at The Millbridge hoping to make amends for their previous fixture.

With Stefan Graham missing through injury, new signing Raymond Tate made his debut in nets and Greg Hall took the Captain’s armband.

However, it was Saintfield who took the lead after half an hour. They added a second minutes later.

Rhys Patterson pulled one back just before half-time with his first goal for the club.

Aaron Cheevers evened the scoreline a minute into the second half.

Saintfield went ahead again but Lee Maxwell secured a point for Ballynahinch with a late equaliser.

Cloughey 4 – 1 Ballynahinch Swifts

The Swifts took the boat to Cloughey for another away fixture.

They found themselves behind early on with the home team scoring after 4 minutes.

A second followed after half an hour and a third before the break.

Scott Cheevers pulled one back in the second half but it wasn’t enough despite more opportunities to reduce the deficiet.

Cloughey added a fourth before the end to take all three points after a below-par performance from Ballynahinch.

Ballynahinch Albion 1 – 3 Saintfield United Swifts

The Albion also faced local rivals Saintfield United Swifts, looking to build on their victory against the same opponents the previous week.

It didn’t go to plan however, and Saintfield took a two-goal lead within 20 minutes. They added a third on the hour to put the game beyond doubt.

Rhys O’Hare salvaged a consolation goal at the end but it was too little to late for Ballynahinch.
