Ballynahinch travelled across the peninsula to face Portavogie Rangers.
The pitch held up impressively well despite the heavy rainfall.
United started slowly and were unable to control the game. It was the home side who took the lead after an error at the back.
They soon doubled their lead with a header at the back post.
In the second half, United had more joy and pulled one back when Naseem Ouldhamlat let fly from outside the box, into the top corner.
It was short-lived however, a mix up in defence allowed Portavogie to regain their two-goal advantage immediately from the restart.
This opened the floodgates, and Portavogie added two more within the next few minutes.
United fought back with goals from Graeme McMullan and Sam Lurring but it was too late.
