Saturday 9 October
Ballynahinch faced the current NAFL Premier Division holders, Crumlin Star in the Border Cup.
United started brightly but fell behind after 15 minutes. A penalty, a tight offside call and two more well worked opportunities allowed Crumlin to increase their lead.
After the break, United conceded early again unfortunately. The away team continued working hard but couldn’t claw back a consolation goal with Crumlin scoring again and again.
